Tillamook County Master Recyclers Course

The Master Recylers program is an initiative of the Tillamook County Solid Waste Department. Heart of Cartm is caring for this program by updating coursework, organizing and teaching classes, and working this fall to better support volunteers and community projects across the county.

The purpose of the Tillamook County Master Recycler program is to build a volunteer network of knowledgeable residents who inspire others to reduce waste.

Whether you’re curious about joining a future course or you’ve completed one in the past, there are always new ways to get involved—from projects and community events to sharing ideas that help the program thrive..

Do you love to recycle, reuse and reimagine?

Then consider becoming a Tillamook County Master Recycler — or reconnecting if you’ve been one before.

Volunteering isn’t just about lending a hand; it’s about sharing what you know, building momentum together, and helping shape a resilient future.

Master Recyclers receive comprehensive training on waste and recycling systems, then share their knowledge by conducting presentations, staffing information booths at events, and engaging with community members.

This video by NH Films showcases how the Master Recyclers Program empowers our community to reduce waste, recycle smarter, and champion sustainability!
